Curious how easy it will be for potential clients to discover and hire the right experts with the new experience.
Previously, we had a project-first view. Clients could quickly browse a board of work, compare different approaches side by side, and immediately identify designers whose style matched their brand.
Now the flow seems much more profile-first. To evaluate someone's work, a client often needs to:
1. Open a profile
2. Read through the bio
3. Check the feed (which may not always showcase portfolio work)
4. Navigate to projects
5. Then start comparing work
It feels like the discovery process has become a few steps longer, especially for clients who already know what kind of visual direction they're looking for.
Would it make sense to introduce an alternative view that allows switching between a people directory and a project directory? That way clients could choose whether they want to discover talent through individuals or through the work itself.
