I know I'm late to this trend, but I wanted to build something inspired by saloon.wtf.
The goal wasn't to make another polished landing page. I wanted the website itself to feel like an experience.
It looks simple.
It wasn't.
This took around 3 hours because I wanted the interactions to actually work:

Responsive layout
Realtime visitor counter
Supabase Realtime Presence
The visitor counter was probably the most interesting part. I'd never used Supabase before, so I ended up learning it while building this.
Could I have made a static version much faster?
Definitely.
But that's not really why I built it.
Sometimes a small experimental website is a good excuse to learn something you wouldn't normally touch.
