I built the Cuewake site in Framer, and Cuewake is now how I keep track of it
Hey everyone 👋
The website for my app, Cuewake, is built in Framer. I update it a lot: new features, pricing tweaks, testimonials, small design fixes.
The problem was that I’d sit down to update one thing, notice three others, and by the time I finished the first change, the rest were gone. I’d close Framer, come back the next day, and have that feeling of “I know I wanted to change something here…” with no idea what it was.
That’s actually the reason Cuewake exists. It’s a small Mac app where you leave a note right where you’re working, and it’s waiting for you when you come back.
Now I keep a checklist inside my Cuewake project in Framer. Whenever I notice something, I add it to the list. It lives right in the notch, so while I’m working I just hover, click, and tick things off as I finish them. When I close Framer and come back later, the checklist is waiting with exactly what’s left to do.
And because Cuewake recognizes which Framer project I’m in, that checklist only shows up in the Cuewake site, not in other projects I’m working on.
In a funny way, Cuewake helps me build Cuewake. 😄
If you want to try it: cuewake.app (one-time purchase, works offline, no account).
I’m curious how you all handle this. When you’re updating a site, how do you keep track of all the little things you notice along the way?
