Doing #FramerChallenge here. And its ending with not so good results for me.

Nevertheless, what I actually want to say to other creators is that

A) The template game is long-term. Most affiliates come with a delay.

Some buy right away yet usually it takes time for people to build the site.

So if you don't see the results fast keep going. Play the long game. Adapt to changes.

(I need to work harder here as metrics of my templates have really dropped and next weeks are probably miserable in terms of motivation here too.)

B) I still believe there is market for templates and its worth to build it.

My heart has always been on doing 1:1 client work. Build custom sites to clients. And I have turned off quite few projects where people want template customisation. I rather build my own templates if no Framer client work.

Even yesterday, someone reached out. They had a Claude prototype and wanted to customise a template. This is the new norm. Ai is part of the toolset. It helps people to form briefs and ideas. Yet currently there is still a need for someone who takes this input and polishes it into a strong working Framer site. Your knowledge matters.

Small details matter. And people pay for this.
