Anyone else seeing a massive shift in 3.0 Marketplace Remix conversion rates?
Hey fellow creators,
I wanted to check in and see if anyone else is experiencing a massive bottleneck with template remixes since the 3.0 drop, or if it’s just my latest launch.
I published a brand new template 23 hours ago. The visibility seems to be there on the new algorithmic feed, but the actual conversions are completely dead. Here are my exact stats from the dashboard right now:
Impressions: 1,200+ (The card is getting seen)
Remixes: 0 🛑
To put this in perspective: Before the Framer 3.0 update, when I posted a template under the old curated system, I would get far fewer impressions, but I’d easily hit at least 5 to 6 remixes right out of the gate even with templates that were honestly lower quality than this new one.
Now that the gatekeeping review queue is gone and the marketplace works entirely like a social network feed, it feels like the buyer intent has completely shifted. Users are scrolling fast, clicking on things out of curiosity, but nobody is pulling the trigger on the remix button.
Are your stats looking similarly lopsided for recent launches? How are you guys adjusting your thumbnail hooks or previews to build trust in an un-gatekeepered feed?
Let’s talk below
I'd love to know what the numbers look like on your end. 👇
