Yesterday I had an interesting conversation with my former design mentor that made me rethink something. A year or two ago, I used to think web design was much more at risk from AI, while product design felt like the safer path. Now I'm not so sure. A lot of product design is becoming easier to automate too, especially work built around established patterns and systems. Ironically, the things that still feel hardest to replace are creativity, visual taste, and empathy. Curious how you see it.
