Hey everyone,
I’m hoping someone from the Framer team or the community can help because I’ve been trying to resolve this issue with support for 4–5 days, but I think there may be a misunderstanding about what actually happened.
Here’s the situation:
I started from a Remix Link, and Framer created a Branch with its own temporary domain.
For the next 4 days, I worked only on that Branch. Every AI generation, every design change, and every publish was saved there. The temporary Branch domain always showed the latest version of the website.
Meanwhile, the Base project in my workspace remained the original version and never received any of those updates.
Now the Branch has disappeared from my workspace.
Support keeps telling me that my project still exists because they can see the Base project in my workspace.
The problem is that the Base project is only the original version of the website. It is NOT the version we spent four days building.
These are two completely different versions of the website.
The Branch version contains four additional days of work, while the Base version is simply the original version before all those changes were made.
The Branch website is still live, which makes me believe the Branch project still exists somewhere on Framer’s servers, but we no longer have access to it.
Is it possible for someone from the Framer team to locate the missing Branch and either:
* Restore access to it.
* Merge it into the Base project.
* Or restore it as the main project.
I’ve been explaining the same issue to support for several days, but the replies keep focusing on the Base project instead of the missing Branch. That’s why I’m asking here in case someone has experienced something similar.
Has anyone experienced this before? If so, how was it resolved? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much!
