How to add a form to my site

The best sites convert leads, bookings, signups etc using different types of forms.

⚠️ Framer is not a visual form builder but instead integrates with form building services like Formspark, HubSpot, TypeForm, etc. If you want a completely custom form you can build one with code.

Forms come in many shapes and … forms. Framer gives you a ton of options to add one that is the best for your specific use case.

Simple Contact Form

For the most common use cases (a simple contact form) we recommend Formspark. Framer comes with a configurable form component where you set you Formspark ID, make some tweaks in colors, fields and placeholders and you're done.

Service Integrated Form (CRM, Calendar, etc)

Sometimes you need a form to automatically post a submission into your CRM or make a booking in your calendar. While generic form services (like Formspark) offer some integrations too, it's often smarter to directly integrate with the service itself if it has a form service. Framer comes with a lot of integrations out of the box:

Calendly book appointments and meetings.

HubSpot add leads to your CRM.

Intercom request customer support.

Custom Form without Code

You may need a completely custom form with multiple steps like a survey or signup form where you capture useful information. In that case you are probably best off with a service that allows you to build custom forms and add them to your site:

TypeForm an easy to use designer friendly option.

HubSpot focused on marketing, but very flexible tooling.

Custom Form with Code

If you need something completely custom, you can always code one up.
