Using the Framer CLI
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to use the Framer CLI to publish packages.
If you get stuck during this video, use the following command to see all the available commands:
npx framer-cli help
To authenticate your email address, run the following command:
npx framer-cli authenticate <email@address>
Before you publish your package, its a good idea to make sure there aren’t any issues with your project. Build your project with the following command:
FRAMER_TOKEN=<token> npx framer-cli build [path/to/project.framerfx]
Finally, you can publish your package by using the following command:
FRAMER_TOKEN=<token> npx framer-cli publish [path/to/project.framerfx] [--yes] [--major] [--public] [--new=<name>]
Authenticating by default
If you’d like to authenticate yourself with each terminal session you start, we recommend adding
export FRAMER_TOKEN=<token> to your
.bashrc file. This effectively prepares each new bash environment by automatically authenticating you, reducing the need to do this manually each time.
