Animal Farm: Polar

Brace for the waddle. Animal Farm: Polar is a hand-drawn parade of eleven polar animals that walks across your site: polar bear, arctic fox, harbour seal, elephant seal, leopard seal, puffin, and emperor, king, Adélie, gentoo and rockhopper penguins.

Every animal is rigged. Penguins waddle side to side, seals hump and lunge on stiff flippers, rockhoppers hop, and everyone blinks and glances back down the line.

• New herd mode: spacing below zero overlaps animals into a crowd

• Herd depth: up to four rows, smaller and hazier into the distance

• Up to three chicks per penguin, right at their feet

• Toggle each animal, herds of up to 12, speed, direction, grouped or mixed order

• Walk across the page or in place, scales at every breakpoint

• Pure SVG, paused offscreen, still for reduced motion
