DataRain is an animated background component designed to bring depth, motion, and a futuristic aesthetic to Framer websites. It combines high-performance canvas rendering with a sophisticated particle simulation to create flowing streams of light that move naturally across the screen.

The interactive deflection system allows particles to flow around the cursor, creating fluid-like movement and swirling vortex effects. When the cursor is idle, the optional Autopilot mode moves the deflection point automatically, keeping the background visually engaging without requiring user interaction.

Choose from five visual themes: Cyberpunk, Matrix, Solar Flame, Arctic Ice, or Custom Colors. Fine-tune particle density, flow speed, deflector size, glow intensity, vignette shading, and film grain directly from the Framer property panel to match your design.
