Y2K Preloader Title
A full-screen CRT intro and a glowing headline in one component. A dark wordmark sits in the middle of the screen, lights up letter by letter, then flies onto the title that is already on your page and swaps in with no jump. After that the headline keeps breathing: a soft glow pulse and a random letter flickering out every few seconds.
What you get
One code component. Turn the preloader off and it’s just the glowing headline.
The intro lands on its own title, so there is nothing to wire up between two layers.
Title sizing: fit to the container width, or a fixed size.
Still render on canvas and export, so your thumbnails and previews stay clean.
How to use
Add the component to your project and drop one instance near the top of your page, where your hero headline goes.
Type your text. The intro uses the same text, font and color.
Pick Fit or Fixed sizing. With Fit, the headline fills the width of its container.
Preview or publish, then reload the page to replay the intro.
Controls
Title: text, font, color, sizing (fit or fixed), size, fill ratio, alignment.
Glow: glow strength, pulse speed, flicker level.
Intro: on/off, background color, ignite time, hold time, wordmark width, exit style.
Behavior: scroll lock during the intro, play only on the first visit.
Good to know
The intro plays once per page. If two instances are on the same page, the first one claims it.
It is skipped for visitors who prefer reduced motion, and the title shows immediately.
Fonts from Google need to be used by at least one text style in your project to load on your published site.
On canvas and export the title is a still frame. Press Play or publish to see the animation.
