Free code rain for Framer that can also spell your words and run as an endless ticker. Fill the whole frame or a band of it, down to a single line.
Canvas only: no images, no video.
Rain, vertical or horizontal, or Ticker: smooth endless lines, one or many, optional alternating directions.
Words: streams spell your name, brand or slogans.
Characters: katakana, your text, symbols, numbers or a custom set (emoji work too).
Area: the whole frame or a band on the left, center or right (top, center or bottom when horizontal), down to a single line.
Edge fade: text appears from and dissolves into nothing.
Trails: go short → long → short for a natural look. Streams in one lane are spaced apart.
Smooth or Step motion: the head glides between characters, or jumps cell by cell like a terminal.
Your font, Head / Color / Trail End colors (color styles work), opacity, speed, trail length, gap and streams.
Flicker and glow: trail characters change now and then, leading characters shine softly.
Advanced: Fade In with Delay, Hover Pause (works even under other layers), Max FPS for lighter pages, Seed for the same starting pattern every time.
Colors, opacity, speed, trail length, gap, fades, flicker and glow change live, without restarting the rain.
Transparent background by default, or pick a Background color: place it behind cards, frames or hero sections.
Fills the screen from the first frame, shows a still frame on the canvas and with reduced motion, pauses while off-screen, hidden from screen readers.
How to use: drop it into a frame, set it to Fill, and place it under your content.
Why free: a classic effect should not sit behind a paywall.
