About Random Video Wall
Random Video Wall fills a grid with your videos and images and lets them flicker on and off at random. Tiles pop up in random cells, play for a moment and disappear, so the page always looks alive. Built for showreels, director and photographer portfolios, and homepages that need to show a lot of work at once.
What you get
Upload videos and images straight into the component. Both go into one random pool.
Separate columns and rows for desktop and mobile, with a breakpoint you set.
Or set rows to 0 and the grid fills whatever height you give it.
Control how many tiles show at once, how long each stays up, how often the grid updates, and the fade.
Tile shape, gap, corner radius, background colour and vertical alignment.
Light on bandwidth
Each file downloads once per visit and is reused, never re-requested.
Clips start at a random point, so the wall never looks repeated.
Playback pauses when the grid is off screen or the tab is hidden.
The editor shows placeholders instead of video, so your project stays fast.
