Redact

Redact is a text reveal for serious websites. Black out the words that matter and let visitors uncover them: the bars pull away one by one, the letters decode through random glyphs, a marker highlights each reveal, and a DECLASSIFIED stamp lands at the end.

One rule. Wrap the secrets in [[double brackets]]. Everything else is real text on the page, so search engines and screen readers get the full sentence.

Four triggers. On scroll follows the reader, In view plays in sequence, Hover and Click hand control to visitors. Reading or random order, stagger and duration.

Document or inline. A case-file card with a label, reference, date and a live redacted counter, or plain text for headlines. Rename the stamp, change every colour and font. Bars wrap cleanly across lines.
