Velocity Marquee

Velocity Marquee is an infinite horizontal marquee that responds to scrolling.

On its own it drifts at a steady base speed. As the visitor scrolls, it speeds up in proportion to the scroll velocity and nudges its direction to match — then eases smoothly back to its base speed when scrolling stops. The result feels alive and physical, not a static loop.

CONTENT

- Two modes: Text items or Logos

- Add unlimited entries — each is a separate item joined by an editable separator (★, •, —, anything)

- Logos support image, alt text and an optional link per item

MOTION

- Base speed, direction (left/right), scroll boost strength, max boost cap and damping are all adjustable

- Seamless infinite loop that auto-repeats to fill any width

- Optional pause on hover

PREMIUM TOUCHES

- Logo Grayscale: logos sit muted and grayscale; hovering a single logo reveals only its real colour while every other logo (across all rows) dims — a refined "trusted by" interaction

- Multiple Rows: stack up to 6 marquee rows with adjustable row gap

- Alternate Rows: each row scrolls the opposite direction for a woven look, with perfectly smooth motion even while scrolling

- Hover Scale (optional, off by default): the hovered item grows, with adjustable scale amount

STYLE

- Text colour, separator colour, font (any Google Font), background

- Gap between items (can go negative to tighten or overlap logos)

- Edge fade mask for soft left/right edges

- Vertical padding
