About Summit Live
Summit is a website template for one-day conferences, meetups and festivals of talks. It's dark and loud, with a huge date-and-venue hero, three stage colours and a live "days to go" countdown that you point at your event date.
Speakers and sessions run from the CMS. Each speaker has a photo, role, company, talk title, session time, stage, format and bio, and gets their own page. Each session has a start and end time, stage, type (talk, workshop or panel), speaker and summary. The schedule shows one column per stage, sorted by time.
The Tickets page has three ticket tiers that link to your ticketing platform, plus an enquiry form for group bookings, access needs and registering interest: name, email, ticket type, number of tickets, dietary needs and access needs, with loading, success and error states.
An "Open now" badge shows whether your ticket helpline is open, or when it opens next.
Pages: Home, Schedule, Speakers, a speaker page, Tickets (with FAQ), Venue (rooms, travel, map, accessibility and where to stay), Code of conduct, Licenses and 404. Every page has its own search title and description, and all are laid out for desktop, tablet and phone.
Getting started:
Change the colours in Assets → Colors (all named Summit/...) and the fonts in Assets → Text Styles.
Set your event date on the "days to go" countdown in the home page hero, and change the date and venue text around it.
Replace the speakers and sessions in CMS → Speakers and CMS → Sessions. Stage names must match the schedule columns.
Point the ticket buttons at your ticketing platform, and choose where the enquiry form on /tickets sends its answers.
Set your helpline hours on the "Open now" badges and in the footer.
Swap the photos and sponsor placeholders for your own, and put your venue's address in the map on /venue.
