About Blockzine
Blockzine is a free Framer blog template and magazine template in a bold neo-brutalist style: cream paper, thick ink borders, hard shadows and flat colour. It suits a personal blog, a newsletter, an indie magazine, a club zine or a creator who posts every week.
The home page is a toy first. Real posts drop onto the headline and pile up, and readers can grab them, throw them or shake the pile. Six colour-coded shelves sort every post, a pinned section files the week while search types itself, and ⌘K search runs over the whole CMS.
The post page does the most work. A sticky rail lists the post's headings as stickers that light up as you read, with a ticket that counts down the minutes left. Each post can carry a short-version summary, margin notes pinned beside the paragraph they belong to, a polaroid photo gallery, a song for the post, a "pick a side" poll, letters from readers and a newsletter ticket halfway down. A next-story card peels back at the end. Every block comes from CMS fields, so writing a new post fills the whole page.
The posts page and every category page have a shelf you can switch between grid and list, sort by newest or most read, and load more, which deals the next cards out like a stack. Category pages show their post count and most-read post. On phones, a small bottom bar keeps Latest, Search and Subscribe one tap away.
Inside this blog template: 12 pages (home, posts, post, categories, category, writers, writer, newsletter, search, about, contact and 404), four CMS collections (posts, categories, writers and issues), newsletter and contact forms, page transitions, scroll motion that respects reduced-motion settings, and layouts for desktop, tablet and phone. Swap the colours, fonts and posts and it becomes your own magazine.
