Kerbel

Kerbel is a website template for route-planning, dispatch, fleet and last-mile delivery software, and any logistics product that is easiest to explain by letting people try it.

The hero is a working planner, not a screenshot. A small city is drawn in transit-map style with 23 delivery drops, a depot and a river. It starts with the hand plan: zones driven in the order requests came in. Press Plan routes and a real optimiser runs, keeping time windows and balancing the vans, and each van's route draws itself as a transit line. Miles fall from 105.8 to 56.0 and all 23 drops arrive on time. Visitors can drag a drop to re-route, tap the map to add one, or switch between 2, 3 and 4 vans.

The page is designed like a transit map: the headline sits on a station-name sign, van 1's line leaves the depot and continues down the page, and the footer is a line diagram of the site's pages. Overpass type, bold route colours on off-white paper.

Limitations: the city and its drops are defined in the code component. Company names and figures are invented.
