A salon website that tells you what a missed appointment actually costs.

Most salon sites show a price list. This one shows the arithmetic underneath it. The demo charges $65 for a cut, spends $12 of that on colour, foils and shampoo, and loses $53 every time a chair sits empty. That $53 is the number, not the $65, and it is the number the built-in calculator is about.

Put your own chairs, opening hours, average ticket, consumable cost, no-show rate and late-cancel rate in and it works out what those empty chairs cost you a month, in contribution rather than in billed revenue. Then it does the part almost nobody does: it works out what deposit level actually pays for itself, including the bookings a deposit turns away. On the shipped figures break-even is $33.13, the demo charges $20, and the policy runs about $688 a month at a loss. The site says so, in three places, because a template that only shows the flattering half of a sum is not much use to somebody deciding what to charge.

Twelve routes: home, a CMS service menu with a detail page per service, CMS stylists with a detail page each, a deposits page, a membership comparison, a booking enquiry form with real pending, success and error states, an about page, privacy, terms and a custom 404.

Eleven colour tokens, every one carrying a dark value, so the whole site has a real dark scheme and a rebrand is eleven edits rather than a hunt for hex codes. Ten text presets across three breakpoints in Fraunces over Manrope. No photography ships with it, which means nothing to license and nothing to replace: it is type, hairline rules, colour and one instrument.
