Hale & Variety

Hale & Variety is a website template for boutique law firms, advisers and consultants. It reads like a confidential file: a big grotesk headline, a black bar over the one word that matters, and a hover or tap that dissolves it block by block.

A short intro brings the partners in one by one, then lands them in place on the home page. A liquid glass bar keeps navigation light, and a full-screen menu takes over on phones.

HOW TO EDIT

1. Click any text or image on the canvas and replace it.

2. Three colour styles run the site: near-black, stone and signal red. Change them once.

3. Fonts are Inter, Inter Tight and JetBrains Mono. Edit them in the text styles.

4. Select "Redacted headline" to change the lines, the redacted word, block grid and speed.

5. Select "Counsel portraits" to add up to five people, each with a photo and a name.

6. In the same component, "Preloader" turns the intro on or off. To replay it while testing, clear the site's local storage (key hv-intro-seen).

7. Cursor, smooth scroll and grain are layers on each page. Adjust or delete them.

8. Edit Desktop first. Tablet and Phone inherit it.

9. Contact form: add your destination email in the form settings. It does not send until you do.

10. Replace the legal text. It is not legal advice.

GOOD TO KNOW

Photos are Unsplash placeholders, and names, addresses and legal text are placeholders too. Replace them before launch. No CMS: all content is edited on the canvas. Mobile PageSpeed is modest on the free Framer domain.
