HalfLight Film

Half Light Film is a Framer template for a video editing studio. It shows the whole catalogue at once, so a client sees the range before they ask for a reel.

The home page opens on a wall of fifteen films. Further down, a timeline lays the work out in three tracks, commercial, music video and documentary, and each clip's width is its real runtime, so the page reads like an edit sequence.

Every film comes from one CMS collection. Each row holds the title, client, category, duration, year, still and a video link, and any film opens in a lightbox that plays a YouTube link, an ID or an uploaded video. Nothing loads until someone clicks.

The screen effect is a single component you can tune or switch off. The whole site uses two typefaces and one accent colour style, so a rebrand is a few edits. A guide page inside the project walks through the timeline and the videos.
