Nell Avery

Nell Avery is a free Framer template for wedding and elopement photographers. Before designing anything, I wrote a whole business for a made-up documentary photographer in Kingston, New York: six weddings with their own stories, 2027 prices, a sample wedding day and the questions couples ask before booking. You start from a site that already reads like a working studio, then swap in your own details.

The main button says “Check your date”, because that’s the first thing couples want to know. Recent weddings stack as you scroll, and each one has its own page with the story of the day, the couple’s words and a lightbox gallery. Prices sit on the home page, and each collection opens a photo on hover. I think couples should see a price before they write to you, and this layout makes that easy.

A note on type: Bodoni Moda looks beautiful on Retina, but its thin strokes break up on a standard Windows monitor. I tuned the optical size and weight of every heading style so it stays sharp on both.

What’s included:

• 10 pages, including wedding and journal pages from the CMS

• 4 CMS collections: Weddings, Journal, Reviews and Pricing

• Inquiry form with date, venue, guest count and collection fields

• 5 components, including the pricing row and a phone menu

• Desktop, tablet and phone layouts

• 50 photos with alt text, and SEO titles on every page

Pages: Home, Weddings, Wedding, Collections, About, Journal, Article, Inquire, Privacy, 404

Good for: wedding and elopement photographers, studios with a second shooter, and portrait photographers who also shoot weddings.

The photos are AI placeholders and the name, prices, weddings and reviews are demo content, so swap in your own and publish only real reviews. Connect the form to your email or CRM in Framer’s form settings.
