Northlight Folio

Northlight is a portfolio for designers whose work is loud on purpose: identity, packaging, editorial and campaign people who want their site to feel like one of their own posters.

Every page opens with one huge word. Every project brings its own colour, which floods its row on hover, fills its page header and carries through to the next-project block. The grid is strict, the stickers sit crooked, and the personality lives in the hover.

What you get

• 6 pages: Home, Work, Project, About, Contact and a custom 404, plus a Style Guide page

• Projects and Tags in the CMS: add a project, pick its colour, and the rows, grid and project page follow

• Desktop, tablet and phone layouts, each with its own decisions

• 11 colour styles and 18 text styles: change six colours and three fonts and the whole site is yours

• One button component, a contact call-out, stickers and tags as components

• Hover effects built with native Framer variants: row flood with cover thumbnail, a View cursor on project tiles, rolling button labels, wiggling stickers

• Contact page with a mailto link and a simple form

• Page titles, descriptions, social image and favicon set up

Good to know

• Fonts are free Google fonts: Bricolage Grotesque, Instrument Sans and DM Mono

• Smooth scrolling is the only code component; delete it and the site still works

• The contact form needs your own address under Send To before it delivers

• The persona, clients and project images are fictional samples; replace them with your own work
