Quire

Quire is a portfolio template for art directors, designers and photographers, built on one idea: show the work, not a paragraph about the work.

The homepage opens as a wall of 300+ image tiles. Move the cursor and the wall parts around it — whatever sits under the gap is promoted into a card carrying its title. Click, and the whole wall pans so that project travels to the centre and opens in place, with one clear way through to the full case study. You never leave the hero to browse.

Highlights

• Cursor-void hero — a justified wall with a soft displacement field that follows the pointer and wraps endlessly sideways. Touch-driven on phones.

• The opened state is built, not implied: press a tile and the project takes the screen.

• Twelve projects in the CMS — cover, case hero, category, year and full case copy per item, each with its own case-study page.

• Working filter tabs, a real brief form with budget chips and validation, and a 404 where the wall has fallen off the page.

• An ink curtain page transition that closes on the way out and lifts on the way in, with entrance choreography and scroll reveals behind it. Reduced-motion aware throughout.

• Light, warm and printed-feeling. It doesn't need a dark mode to look expensive.
