Velocity Studio

Velocity is a free Framer template for creative agencies and design studios: a typographic project index, CMS case studies, an image archive and Framer Skills.

The home page is the client list itself. Every project name is set in Anton across the screen and the list keeps going as you scroll. Point at a name and it blurs while its cover appears in the corner. On a phone, the name in the middle of the screen does the same as you scroll, so the effect works without a mouse.

Index, Work and Archive sit in the bottom bar as three views of the same studio. Work is a masonry grid of case studies; hover one and the rest turn grey. Archive is a loose wall of images in three sizes, and any picture opens full screen with Previous, Close and Next and arrow key support.

Case study pages build themselves from the CMS: client, year, discipline and services, a full width cover, the story, then split, pull quote, offset and closing image sections. Leave a slot empty and its section disappears, so a small project and a large one both look finished. The next project waits in the bottom bar.

Info has a studio statement, the team with portraits on hover, services and awards. Contact has an enquiry form with a budget field.

To make it yours, open the Styleguide page for every colour, text style and component, or use the two Framer Skills in Framer AI. /customize walks you through the name, contact details, projects, intro, colours and SEO. /design-system keeps new sections in the same black and white system.

Good to know: the intro plays on every page change and can be set to once per session. Smooth scrolling has its own switch. A Badge Space setting keeps the free plan badge clear of the footer.
