Device

Device is a dark, minimal Framer portfolio for product designers who want a personal site that feels like a piece of hardware. The whole layout sits in a narrow 544px column inside a screen frame, and a live availability status makes it clear you're open for services without a price list. The design reads as a device you're holding rather than a page you're scrolling.

Pages: Home, About, Projects, Stack, Contact, Licensing and 404, plus CMS-driven case study and legal templates. The homepage carries a profile with availability status, a projects grid, a tools stack grid and a testimonial ticker, all inside the device chassis. A "Let's Talk" block and contact form close the loop. Smooth scroll is enabled site-wide.

2 CMS collections

• Projects: client, date, duration, image, three separate category fields, live site link, a buy link with a custom button label, meta description and full case study content

• Legal: title and content, with one template covering privacy, cookies and any policy you add later

Three category fields per project means each card shows its own discipline breakdown, such as website design, brand identity and motion, without a shared taxonomy to maintain.

Who it's for

Product and web designers building a personal site. Freelancers signalling availability rather than publishing packages. Anyone with a focused body of work who values restraint over volume.

Not the right fit if you need a blog, tiered pricing, e-commerce or a team page.

Why Device?

The chassis is the idea, carried through the top and bottom frames, side rails, screen light and keyboard button. Inter kept deliberately small, a near-black greyscale palette with a green availability accent, background tickers and smooth scroll.
