I'm testing two different hero backgrounds for my upcoming Framer template.
Which one do you think works better?
How far do you go when building templates or client websites?
What resources do you provide to make customization easier? CMS structure, variables, documentation, onboarding, tooltips, preview content, something else?
It's something I've been thinking about lately, especially how much this impacts conversion and purchasing decisions.
This UI wasn't made in Framer, but maybe it can still spark some ideas for future web interfaces.
Exploring dashboards, data visualization, and different interaction patterns is always a good way to bring fresh perspectives into web design.
Really liked having the preview directly on the template details page. Makes it much easier to quickly check a template.
That said, I still prefer opening the live site to see it in action before deciding.
What about you? Is the preview enough or do you still check the live demo?
Built this portfolio in Framer a while ago and it has served me well so far.
Looking at it now, I can see a lot of things I'd approach differently today — which is probably a good sign. A new version is already in the works, with a stronger focus on storytelling, personality, and showcasing the process behind the work.
Sometimes your portfolio is the best way to measure how much you've grown.
Working on the CTA section and footer of my first real estate Framer template.
Trying to keep everything clean, conversion-focused, and easy for clients to customize without touching the canvas too much.
Still a work in progress. 👀
For a better client customization experience, would it be better to keep the Home page content in Variables only, or use CMS as well? 🤔
My goal is to make customization easy, even for people with little or no experience using Framer or other design tools. Ideally, they should be able to update content without having to click through individual elements in the design canvas.
How are you seeing this new no-revisions phase? Do you think it improves overall quality, or does it reduce it?

My first Framer template is almost ready. Built for real estate agents, I'm now refining the interactions and CMS collections before launch. One thing I really enjoy about creating templates is that there are no revisions. That said, I'd still love to hear some feedback.
