Most portfolio templates kill the music the moment someone clicks a link. That's the problem we built this one around.
The player renders through a portal, outside the page tree, so navigation never unmounts it. Track, position and volume survive every route change — a producer's work gets heard end to end instead of in ten-second fragments.
The other decision worth mentioning is in the beat store: prices live on the licence, not on the beat. Assign MP3 Lease, WAV Lease or Exclusive to a track and the price follows everywhere — the card, the pricing block, the enquiry the buyer receives. One edit updates the whole store, and it can't contradict itself.
