First sale since the new Marketplace launch 🎉
Interestingly, Otto currently has just 3 likes and 0 comments.
Not sure what conclusions to draw from that yet, but it's certainly an interesting data point.
A small win, but a welcome one 🙂

A small @Framer Marketplace suggestion.
As the new Marketplace becomes increasingly driven by engagement signals, I believe search becomes more important than ever for discoverability.
If engagement-based rankings are the primary discovery mechanism, niche templates can become very difficult to find, even when they're exactly what a customer is looking for.
The attached mockups illustrate a simple idea: a more prominent search experience could help users discover templates based on relevance and intent, rather than primarily on popularity.
It feels like a relatively small change, but one that could make a meaningful difference to the discoverability of many creators.
Curious to hear what others think.
The new video thumbnails in the @Framer Marketplace are a cool addition 👏
One feature I'd love to see is the ability to organize the order of templates on creator profiles.
Would be great to highlight newer releases, featured work, or best sellers.
I've never been someone who enjoys building an audience, chasing engagement, or posting for the sake of posting. My approach has always been simple: keep working, keep learning, and try to produce the best work I can.
For a while, I was already noticing that newer templates weren't performing like they used to, even though I genuinely believe they were better than some of my earlier work. Sales were becoming harder to come by.
Since the new Marketplace launched, things have dropped off dramatically for me.
As an example, Loginord reached the Top 10 on Framer-Ranks and was easy to find on the Marketplace homepage. Today it's ranked below #2,500. The same has happened to most of my templates.
That makes it difficult to know what to do next. I'll finish the template I'm currently working on because I had already invested time into it and I want to see it through. After that, I'll need to take a step back and seriously rethink what the next chapter looks like. Right now, I honestly don't know.
I'm also with the feeling that, after years of contributing to the ecosystem, Framer no longer really needs creators like you.
At the same time, I have to be fair and acknowledge the other side of the story. The template submission process pushed me to become a much better designer. It forced me to think more systematically, pay attention to details, improve my processes, and raise the quality of my work. The opportunities that came from building templates have had a huge impact on my career, and I'm genuinely grateful for that.
Maybe this is simply another moment where we need to adapt. I'm just not entirely sure what that adaptation looks like yet.
Giara is one of the Framer templates I'm most proud of.
Unlike many real estate websites that focus purely on listings, Giara was designed around the personal brand of independent agents operating in the premium market.
The goal was to create a website that helps agents build trust, showcase expertise, and present properties in a more refined and editorial way.
If your business depends on relationships, reputation, and high-value properties, I think this approach works much better than a traditional real estate directory.

I was testing the new Marketplace search and noticed that Dentora doesn't appear for the term "dentist", despite being a dental clinic template.
Sharing it here in case anyone is looking for a dental website template:

I'll also try updating the description to see if that helps with discoverability.
Changed a couple of keywords in the description. Let's see if it will help rank higher on the new marketplace.🤞
