The concept emerged somewhere between an attempt to find a position on AI, new market demands, and the cost to the climate. Perfume, once placed on the body, is fleeting — it stays with us for only a few moments. Much like the water used to cool all manner of machines, which evaporates.
And so I decided to seal it in a bottle. The generatedi mages of the perfume, and Claude’s help with the prompts, consumed around 11 liters of water.
I wanted to frame technology within new sensory boundaries. Hence the narrative built around machines, cables, but also nature. The accent color here is OLO - invisible to the eye and to our screens. The main inspiration was an exhibition by the sensory artist Sissel Tolaas.
