I’m currently redesigning the website of a cybersecurity company that raised $5M this year.
The interesting part?
Their biggest problem wasn’t product, sales, or demand.
It was that most people couldn’t fully understand what they actually did from their website.
And honestly, I keep seeing the same thing across B2B tech companies.
The product evolves.
The team grows.
The company raises funding.
But the website stays stuck explaining yesterday’s version of the business.
The result:
• Prospects don’t immediately get the value
• Credibility suffers
• Sales conversations start from confusion instead of conviction
A lot of founders think they have a traffic problem.
Many actually have a clarity problem.
Because if buyers don’t understand your product, they can’t trust it.
And if they can’t trust it, they won’t buy it.
