New portfolio template in progress! My brain did go: no one wants this! but heart said i still wanna make it! Here's the hero:
I always get these super creative, super specific ideas for Framer templates, and I feel like that might be both a pro and a con π
For example, I made Chalkfolio with a very specific playful/doodle concept, and now Iβm working on another really cool but specific concept.
I love making concepts like this because they stand out and its sooo exciting, but I also wonder if being so specific means Iβll naturally get fewer buyers since the audience is smaller.
Do you guys think this is a good thing because it makes the templates more memorable, or should I focus on making more broadly appealing templates?
Why is there no option to set up thumbnail of our template's video preview?π₯² It looks half blank now that the videos aren't auto playing.
I had used canva for editing that preview they don't have thumbnail setting option either...

How it literally feels selling templates right now!
Hi! Can someone pls tell me how to take better preview videos of templates? When i screen record normally on laptop the video is horizontally longer...
Any tips?
I am stuck in between: "make it not generic " & "dont make everything too much"
Working on a portfolio template with a really cool hero, playful micro-interactions on otherwise clean/minimal sections.
Hero is basically the highlight and the rest has just micro animations on hover and scroll animations.
Genuinely just want honest reactions does it feel balanced, or does something feel like too much / not enough personality? Screenshots below. Brutal feedback welcome, I'd rather hear it now than after launch.

After being completely discouraged for the last few days (cause my template which was already getting remixes got reported and no replies from the team),
