@framer
The idea came together in an unexpected way.
I was scrolling through the Framer Agents Hackathon brief, trying to figure out what to build.
The constraints were clear: use Framer, use Agents meaningfully, ship in 24 hours.
But what to create?
I remembered a friend of mine who makes music, and I'd seen the software they use. There was something about it I loved. The design, the aesthetic, the way it was crafted. I thought: how can I build something equally beautiful?
That's when the retro idea hit me. I started researching vintage design online, looking at old interfaces, classic machines. And then I thought about the Macintosh. That iconic design language. How perfectly it would work with a music production tool, if done right.
I sat down and outlined what I wanted:
- A beat grid that feels tactile and mechanical
- Drums with personality and visual character
- AI-powered pattern generation using Framer Agents
- That beautiful vintage Macintosh aesthetic
- Smooth animations that make it feel premium and thoughtful
RWND-808 was born from that moment. Taking inspiration from something beautiful, adding a retro aesthetic twist, and bringing it to life in Framer.
24 hours later, it was live.

What if websites weren’t just pages… but actual games?
Imagine landing on a portfolio and exploring it like a space shooter.
Imagine visitors who play instead of scroll.
I built a playable Space Shooter component: https://www.framer.com/community/marketplace/components/spaceshooter/
Are game-like websites the future, or should websites stay simple and focused?
