Framer Agents are genuinely useful, especially for speeding up repetitive work.
But the “Out of credits” experience is frustrating.
I’m a designer. I design websites for clients and create Framer templates, and I use Framer Agents to speed up repetitive parts of my workflow.
So when I run out of AI credits, why would I upgrade my website plan just to use more AI credits?
Right now, when the credits are exhausted, the only option presented is:
“Your workspace has used all of its available credits this month.
Upgrade.”
But I don’t need a bigger website plan. I just need more AI credits.
There should be an option to buy additional AI credits separately.
For designers building client websites and creating templates, forcing an entire plan upgrade just to access more AI credits doesn’t make much sense.
Framer Agents are good, and I use them as a productivity tool for repetitive work, not as a replacement for the actual design process.
The credit system just needs more flexibility.
Let users buy extra AI credits without forcing them to upgrade their entire website plan.
