Is it just me, or does it feel like @Framer is becoming more focused on UI than UX lately?
I love good visual design, but sometimes it feels like usability and workflow take a back seat to interface changes.
What do you think? Am I missing something, or have you felt the same?
I've been thinking about how the @Framer Marketplace is evolving.
It feels much more competitive now. Components that used to be priced around $10β15 are sometimes listed for $2, and templates that were commonly $80+ are now launching for around $40.
Lower prices are great for buyers, and I don't think that's a bad thing. But I'm curious about the long-term impact on creators and the overall pricing standard of the marketplace.
One common argument is, "Just add more features or make your product better and easy to use." I agree that's important, and it's something I try to do with my own products.
However, from a buyer's perspective, if two components appear to solve the same problem, will they always read the description and compare features? Or will many simply choose the cheaper option?
I'm genuinely curious to hear what other creators think.
Do you believe pricing standards in the marketplace are changing? Or do you think quality and differentiation will continue to justify higher prices over time?
