About Kylie Cosmetics

On the old Kylie Cosmetics store, every product a shopper added to the cart took them out of the feed. For an audience shopping on phones, the storefront behaved like a shrunk-down desktop site.

A Shopify store rebuilt around the feed

This 2022 Shopify commerce project was designed phone-first. Campaign imagery runs full-bleed in an app-like feed, because the brand’s imagery is the product. A quick-add control updates the cart in place, so shoppers keep browsing.

Checkout is where many stores lose people, often to a form that looks like it belongs to another company. The new checkout has fewer fields and keeps the brand’s look to the last screen.

Within three months, store revenue was 130% higher than on the previous site.
