About SK Roeselare
SK Roeselare is the football club of the city of Roeselare, Belgium, with a tradition that goes back to 1921. I designed and built their website from scratch in Framer.
The brief: a club site changes every week, with new fixtures, results, standings and players. It had to run largely on its own, so the people behind the club spend their time on the club and not on the website. And it had to feel as bold and warm as the supporters in the stands.
My approach: everything runs on a CMS the club works in, with logic that decides what to show. The header shows the next match with a countdown and a ticket button, until there's an announcement or event, which automatically takes the top spot. The league table calculates itself from the results in the CMS: enter one score and the standings, calendar, latest results and match pages all update. Player cards turn the squad into something to explore, and sign-up flows for events and the youth academy connect visitors to the club. The CMS now holds 119 news articles and 95 Business Club members.
The result: a site that lives with the season instead of being rebuilt for every update.
