KSV Oostkamp

KSV Oostkamp is a Belgian football club founded in 1956, with a first team, a reserve squad and a full youth academy. They replaced their WordPress site with a new website that I designed and built from scratch in Framer.

The brief: a club website goes out of date every weekend. Supporters want Saturday's result on Saturday night, the standings on Monday and the line-up by Wednesday, and at a volunteer-run club nobody has time to type all of that in.

My approach: the design starts from the club itself, with the red and white of the shirt, the club flag and "KSVO 1956" as recurring motifs. Under the hood, fixtures, results and the league table come in automatically from the Voetbal in België API. A GitHub Action and a Cloudflare Worker write that data straight into the Framer CMS, every four hours on weekdays and every fifteen minutes at the weekend. The homepage always shows the next match, the latest result and the standings, and the calendar filters by team. News, match reports, the squad and 129 sponsors are managed by the club in the CMS.

The result: a site that keeps itself up to date all season, so the club only writes what only they can write.
