A flexible delivery date component designed to show accurate, real-world delivery estimates for ecommerce and content-driven sites. The banner calculates an estimated arrival date dynamically instead of relying on static text.

What this component does

Determines the next valid shipping day based on allowed weekdays
Applies a configurable same-day cutoff time and time zone
Calculates delivery timing using a calendar-day offset
Optionally skips weekends to prevent unrealistic dates
Displays the final delivery date in the visitor’s local time zone

Accurate delivery logic

The component checks the current time against the daily cutoff. If the cutoff has passed, it automatically rolls forward to the next eligible shipping day before calculating the delivery date. This prevents misleading delivery promises and keeps expectations aligned with fulfillment reality.

Fully customizable design

Inline or stacked layouts
Independent fonts for label and date
Solid colors, gradients, or image fills for text
Solid colors, gradients, or image backgrounds
Optional border with adjustable width and color
Optional squircle corners with graceful fallback

Responsive behavior

On smaller widths, the banner can automatically stack into two lines or smoothly scale down typography. Both behaviors are optional and fully user-controlled, making it easy to adapt the component to different layouts without media queries.

Where this works especially well

Ecommerce product pages
Cart and checkout reassurance
Subscription and preorder messaging
Landing pages with delivery promises
Limited releases, drops, and seasonal launches
Local pickup or event-based ordering
Gift guides, blog posts, and promotional pages
Any scenario where delivery expectations matter

Advanced capabilities

For more control, the component includes optional advanced settings that can be enabled when needed for extreme control:

Custom cutoff time zones for businesses shipping outside preset regions
Flexible shipping day rules for non-daily fulfillment schedules
Adjustable spacing for tighter or more relaxed layouts
Optional borders and refined corner styling
Background and text fill modes including solid, gradient, and image
Mobile behavior controls for stacking or typography scaling
