Three months ago, my first template was accepted by Framer, the old way.
I decided to make it free and honestly, I had no idea the whole “affiliate commission” thing even existed. 😄
Then, a few days later, I started getting emails from Dub. I had never even heard of it before. Fast-forward three months and the template has had a pretty solid run, generating $1K+ in affiliate commission.
So now I’m doing the exact opposite of what most people seem to be doing:
I’m making it paid.
I’m genuinely curious to see what happens to the numbers and whether the economics of a paid template make sense compared to keeping it free.
