About ArcSpread
ArcSpread is a draggable image gallery for Framer where cards sit along a wide arc, like a hand of cards fanned open, with a rippling lag that makes nearby cards react instantly while distant ones trail behind.
Drag, flick, scroll the wheel, or use arrow keys to spin the fan. Because each card follows at a speed based on its distance from where you touched, the whole arc moves with a wave-like cascade instead of shifting as one rigid strip.
WHAT IT DOES
Add cards, each with an image, title, and caption. The fan spans a wide arc, drag to spin it, flick to send it coasting with momentum, or let it idle-drift on its own. Distance-weighted lag means cards closest to your touch respond first, the effect cascading through the rest.

Distance-weighted lag creates a genuine cascading wave through the fan
Drag, flick, mouse wheel, and arrow key navigation all built in

Optional snap-to-card on release for a tidy resting position
Idle drift with pause-on-hover, keeps the gallery alive at rest
Title and caption overlay per card with adjustable gradient wash

Static-safe rendering for the Framer canvas and thumbnails
Full typography and color controls
Zero third-party dependencies, pure Pointer Events and RAF
WHY IT WORKS
Most drag carousels move every card at the same rate, which feels rigid. ArcSpread's distance-weighted follow makes the fan respond like a real hand of cards, a wave outward from wherever you touch, not a flat mechanical shift.
PERFECT FOR
Photography and portfolio fans, brand lookbooks, product collections, and any Framer site that wants a tactile, physical-feeling card spread instead of a flat carousel.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
A single drop-in component. Add your cards, then tune arc radius, card size, lag, and drift through property controls.
Drop it in, load your cards, and give visitors a fan worth touching.
