About ASCII reveal FX
About this Component
Haytham ASCII Reveal transforms an image stack with a scroll-driven ASCII dissolve. Instead of a simple wipe or crossfade, each transition is carried by a customizable grid of characters that scatters across the reveal edge for a tactile, digital look.
Perfect For:
Creative portfolios, editorial layouts, launch pages, art direction, product storytelling, and experimental landing pages.
Key Features:
• Upload up to 12 responsive images • Two scroll modes: Internal or Framer Scroll Sections • In Sections mode, each Scroll Section controls one image transition • Transition begins when the section top reaches the bottom of the viewport • Section height determines the duration of that transition • Adjustable cell size, colors, glyph set, font, spread, scatter, core width, and sparsity • Cover/Contain image fitting with X/Y focal-point controls • Responsive, static-renderer safe, and optimized to pause off-screen • No external animation library required
How It Works:
Use Internal mode for an automatically detected scroll track, or switch to Sections and enter your Framer Scroll Section IDs in order. Image 1→2 uses ID 1, Image 2→3 uses ID 2, and so on. For N images, use N−1 section IDs.
