Bloom Reveal

About Bloom Reveal

BloomReveal is a drag and wheel driven image carousel for Framer where cards smoothly balloon in size as they approach the leading edge, then taper back down, with a title and caption that reveal above each card on hover.

Cards grow along a true parabolic curve, not a linear scale, so the size change feels organic rather than mechanical. Drag, scroll the wheel, or let it drift on autoplay, it pauses automatically off-screen or when the tab loses focus.

WHAT IT DOES

Add slides, each with an image, title, and caption. Visitors drag or scroll through an infinite loop of cards that grow as they near the front and shrink as they recede. Hovering any card reveals its title and caption above the image, or keep the active card's caption always visible.

KEY FEATURES

  • Parabolic growth curve, cards balloon smoothly, not a flat step

  • Drag and wheel navigation, momentum coasts naturally to a stop

  • Infinite loop, no visible seam or reset

  • Hover-triggered title/caption reveal above each card

  • Always-visible caption option for the active slide

  • Autoplay pauses automatically off-screen or when the tab is hidden

  • Reduced-motion fallback, direct follow with no coast or drift

  • Adjustable min/max card size, curve strength, autoplay speed

  • Optional prev/next arrows

  • Static-safe rendering for canvas and thumbnails

WHY IT WORKS

Most expanding-card carousels use a stepped or linear scale that feels mechanical. BloomReveal's parabolic curve grows cards the way a fisheye lens does, while the hover caption system turns a visual effect into an actual way to browse titled content.

PERFECT FOR

Photography and portfolio galleries, agency project showcases, editorial collections, and any Framer site that wants a tactile carousel with real captions attached.
