Film Stock

A film look for any video or image. Drop it on a clip and it renders like a print from a cinema camera: halation around the highlights, moving grain, a slight gate weave and flicker.

Look: None, Warm Print, Cool or Bleach Bypass - four print looks graded in the shader.

Halation: the red-orange glow film gives bright edges. Set strength, the threshold where it starts, its radius and its tint.

Grain: amount and size. The grain moves every frame like real stock.

Weave and flicker: the small frame drift and exposure breathing of a projector. Turn either to zero for a still look.

Vignette and fade: darker corners and lifted, milky blacks.

Source: upload a video (MP4, WebM, MOV) or an image, with Fill or Fit.

It runs on WebGL at 24fps only while it is on screen. Visitors who ask for reduced motion see a single graded frame. If WebGL is not available, the plain source is shown.

Zero dependencies. On the canvas it renders one graded frame. Ships with a demo clip so it works the moment you drop it in.
