About Ledger

Ledger turns a spreadsheet into something that looks designed, and works like a tool.

Most tables in Framer are stacks of text. Ledger draws its cells: bars scaled to the column, sparklines from a row of numbers, trend arrows that colour themselves, heatmap tints, avatars that fall back to initials, and badges that pick their own colour per value. Eleven cell types in all, with locale-aware currency and dates.

Connect live data. A published Google Sheet or a raw GitHub file, refreshing as often as every minute. Rows whose values actually moved flash on refresh, so you can see what changed. Or paste CSV and JSON directly.

Filters build themselves from your data, with counts that update against the other active filters. Search, sort, filters, grouping and page all live in the URL, so a filtered view is a link you can send.

Three views from one dataset: table, compact list, or a gallery grid. Group rows under collapsible headers, and open any row in a drawer for the full record.

Responsive by shedding, not scrolling. Columns carry a priority and drop as the grid narrows, then fall back to cards. Virtualisation keeps thousands of rows smooth.

Multi-column sort, CSV export, row selection, column resizing, a pinned first column and a totals row. Five themes, one motion setting.

Real table semantics with aria-sort, full keyboard navigation, reduced motion respected, and nothing animating on the canvas.
