Showreel Hover

A work grid that plays when you look at it.

Showreel Hover is a portfolio grid for motion and film work. Hover a card and its preview loop plays, with a "Play reel" label following the cursor. Click and the project opens in a full-screen player with chapters.

What it does

- Muted hover previews that load only when needed

- Cursor label with spring follow, poster zoom on hover

- Full-screen player: chapter markers on the timeline, chapter list, previous / next project

- Keyboard: Space, arrow keys for chapters and projects, M to mute, Esc to close

- Touch: tap to open; previews can autoplay while in view

- Responsive grid with columns, minimum card width, aspect ratio and captions

- Works without media using demo cards, so you can try it right away

Good to know:

- The ZIP file contains only four still posters and does not include any playable videos.

- You must use video files that you have uploaded yourself; YouTube and Vimeo links are not supported.
