About Kettle
Kettle is a website template for small bakeries, cafés and coffee shops. It has everything a local food business usually needs, and nothing it doesn't.
The menu runs from the CMS. Add an item once, with a price, a short description, allergens and V / VG / GF tags, and it shows up in the right section of the menu page. Mark it as featured and it also appears on the home page.
The "Open now" badge reads your opening hours in your shop's time zone. It shows "Open now · until 4pm" or the next opening time, such as "Closed · opens tomorrow 7am", and updates every minute. Set the hours for each day and the time zone in its properties panel.
The order page has a form for cakes and bigger orders, with loading, success and error states on the button. Submissions go wherever you point the Framer form: email, a webhook or a Google Sheet.
Pages: Home, Menu, Order ahead, Our story, Visit (hours, map, parking, access), Licenses and 404. Each page has its own search title and description, and all of them are laid out for desktop, tablet and phone.
Getting started:
Change the colours in Assets → Colors (all named Crumb/...) and the fonts in Assets → Text Styles.
Replace the menu items in CMS → Menu items. Categories, allergens and dietary tags are fields on each item.
Set your opening hours on the "Open now" badge, on the home page and in the footer.
Open the form on /order and choose where submissions go.
On /visit, put your address in the map component.
Swap the photos for your own and update the page titles in Page settings.
