About Miette
What is Miette?
Miette treats the loaf as the grid. The hero photo and the name are cut into slices that fall away as you scroll and reveal the morning's six trays. Behind it are a Home page, a Menu page and a 404, run by two CMS collections, Bakes and Night Shift. Each bake carries the time it leaves the oven, so the site works out what is just out, what is due and whether the shop is open, in your own time zone.
Core Features
Sliced hero: the photo and the wordmark are cut into slices that part under the cursor and fall away on scroll
Live bake times: "Just out" and "In 12 min" worked out from each bake's oven time, in your time zone
The Night Shift: a pinned scroll story of the overnight bake, with a moving photo strip and a departure-board readout
The Window menu: a sticky sliced photo follows the list and swaps to the bake you are reading
CMS: 2 collections, Bakes (12 items on Bread and Pastry shelves) and Night Shift (5 steps)
Order-ahead form with pickup day and time, plus a bake-list email signup in the footer
Live open status, an Opening Week card, an oven page transition and die-cut stickers from the 1903 Book of Bread
