About Nixole
Nixole is a Framer template for small schools, academies and course providers that teach one programme in a few subjects. It is built like a school office: a ruled sheet on paper, one flat colour per subject, line drawings that move once, and a single yellow ticket for the main action.
It has a home page, a course page with a twelve-week timeline, a page for each subject (room), an admissions page with four steps and key dates, a visit page with open days and a booking form, a notes blog with an article page, a 404 page, and a design system page for editors.
Most of the content lives in the CMS:
- Rooms: subjects, each with its own colour, ink colour, drawing, weeks and what students make.
- Tutors: names, roles and short bios.
- Open days: dates, times and rooms.
- Notes: the blog.
The room and note pages are generated from the CMS, and each room links to its tutor and its notes. The drawings come from a set of fourteen line mechanisms. You pick one per room in the CMS, and its line and fill take the room's colours.
To restyle the site, start from ten colour styles and five text styles: changing the ink, the paper, the accent or a room colour updates every page. Buttons, labels and links are edited from the properties panel. An editor-only Getting started page explains the structure, and the design system page shows every style, colour, button and drawing.
Motion is small and purposeful: the ticket button presses onto its slip, rows lift on hover, each drawing plays once when it comes into view and again on hover, the next page wipes in, and a line follows the scroll across the course weeks. Drawings stay at rest when the visitor prefers reduced motion.
Before launch: add your email or webhook to the Visit form (Send To), point the Apply link at your own address, and replace the demo content. All people, dates, prices and quotes are fictional. The course timeline is laid out for four rooms.
